Ladies First: Mindfulness Taster With Chloe Holmwood

Mindfulness Small

As part of our 'Ladies First' programme of arts and well being events we have invited mindfulness tutor Chloe Holmwood to introduce a mindfulness taster.

Mindfulness is an outlook which is accessible to everyone, regardless of their faith or cultural background.  It involves paying attention to our present moment experience with an attitude of curiosity, kindness and acceptance.

Often when we are stressed it is because we have been swept away by our thoughts, either ruminating about the past or worrying about the future, without knowing that it’s happening.

Returning to the present moment with mindful awareness, can help us develop the ability to respond more skilfully to the challenges that life brings, and enjoy our lives more.

Chloe Homewood has been practicing mindfulness for 18 years, and is a mindfulness trainer and supervisor for the Mindfulness Association.
