Mix the stewing steak with 50g of cornflour. Add the oil to a hot pan and then place in the stewing steak. Brown for 5/10mins.

Bring to the boil and then leave to simmer for 2.5hrs on a low heat, until the meat is tender. Add the country vegetable and frozen mixed peppers after the 2.5hrs, and then heat until the stew reaches core temperature again.
