A Proclamation Ceremony declaring King Charles III as Monarch has been held at the Municipal Buildings in Dumbarton.
Council Chief Executive, Peter Hessett read out the official proclamation statement, joined by local dignitaries including Provost Douglas McAllister, Vice Lord Lieutenant Linda Moffat and Leader of the Council, Councillor Martin Rooney.
Elected Members including former Provosts attended with representatives from Police Scotland and Scottish Fire & Rescue Service, and representatives from the Church.
A grass area outside the Municipal Buildings in Dumbarton has been designated for any floral tributes.
