The heritage centre has many collections about Dumbarton and the Vale of Leven. These include books, maps, pamphlets, photographs, postcards, directories, and newspapers.
We also have many local history books and DVDs, which can be borrowed, used for reference, or bought in the centre.

The centre keeps archives for Dumbarton and the Vale of Leven, with records dating back to the 14th century.
