Please note : The Waste Regulations for businesses, commercial premises and not-for-profit organisations came into effect from 1st January 2014. For more details on this please refer to our 'Useful documents' section at the bottom right hand side of this page.

We provide a commercial waste service to businesses within our Council boundary. This fully compliant and chargeable service can offer multiple uplifts of various sizes of wheeled bins depending on your businesses requirements.

To order a wheeled bin please download and complete the bin order form. Full details can be obtained by calling Waste Services on 01389 738203 or 01389 738699.

Under the Environmental Protection Act 1990, if a commercial business produces waste then it needs a Duty of Care to dispose of its waste properly. A Duty of Care means that all businesses must ensure that their waste is disposed of in a controlled and safe way by another person. That person must be authorised to transport and dispose of the waste without harming the environment. A Duty of Care has no time limit and all businesses are responsible for their waste even after it has been passed to another person for disposal by them.
