Applying for Housing

To apply for a Council property you have to be 16 or over.

The Council and several of the community-based housing associations operating within the West Dunbartonshire area have worked together to set up an improved, simplified way to apply for housing. This shared application should make it much easier for you as you only have to complete one on-line application form for social housing in West Dunbartonshire rather than a form with each landlord -provided the landlords you wish to apply to are participating partners.

To be considered for social housing with any other landlord in West Dunbartonshire you will need to apply to them directly. Those applying to Dunbritton Housing Association can access the link to their application form on the Dunbritton Housing Association website.
