Have your say on local leisure and sporting facilities
Published 27 November 2025
Feedback is being sought from residents on how leisure and sporting facilities across the area are used.
The Council has launched a consultation seeking views on current venues and the services provided by West Dunbartonshire Leisure Trust.
The 12-week consultation will run until 8 February 2026.
Councillor William Rooney, Convener of Corporate Services, said: We want to ensure that the services offered at Leisure Trust facilities continue to meet the needs of residents and communities across West Dunbartonshire. We’re especially keen to hear from individuals and groups who regularly use these facilities, and we encourage them to take part in this consultation.
This is your opportunity to help shape what the Leisure Trust delivers both right now and in the future.
Councillor Lawrence O'Neill, Vice Convener, added: This engagement will be really valuable in helping us gain a better understanding of how our venues are used, what is working well and whether there are areas where we need to consider changes.
We want our leisure and sports facilities to be accessible to all, and meet the needs of our communities, so it's important we gather views from a wide range of respondents.
