Essential patching on the A82 southbound approach to Lomondgate roundabout
Commences Wednesday 30th July 2025
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential patching on the A82 southbound approach to Lomondgate Roundabout from Wednesday 30th July until Sunday 3rd August between the hours of 8pm and 6am each night.
This work will require four overnight closures of the A82 southbound between Stoneymollan Roundabout and Lomondgate Roundabout, as well as overnight closures of the A82 southbound on-slip from Renton. Signed diversions will be in operation as follows:
- A82 southbound traffic will be directed from Stoneymollan Roundabout to follow the A811 and then turn right to the A813 and continue to Lomondgate Roundabout.
- Traffic wishing to use the A82 southbound on-slip from Renton will be directed to follow Renton Road, Glasgow Road, Church Street, Townend Street, Barloan Roundabout and the A82 northbound to Lomondgate Roundabout. Alternatively, traffic can continue on Renton Road to the roundabout and turn right to Bridge Street then turn right to the A813 and continue to Lomondgate Roundabout.
All traffic management will be removed by 6am on Sunday 3rd August 2025.
Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the safety of the carriageway in this location.
Road users are thanked for their patience and understanding while this work is being undertaken.
