Employability Key Worker Service
Our Key Worker team provide one-to-one support to any resident of West Dunbartonshire, especially the following priority groups:
- Lone parents
- Families
- Unemployed
- low Income Employed
- Long-term unemployed
- Care experienced
- People with health conditions or disabilities affecting employment
- Residents facing multiple barriers such as low confidence, poor digital skills, poverty, or lack of qualifications
Our dedicated advisers will:
- Help you identify your strengths and develop any areas you'd like to build on
- Create a step-by-step plan to get you where you want to be
- Offer expert advice and guidance every step of the way
The service is free, voluntary and tailored to suit your needs.
Our Key Workers can help with:-
- Creating and developing a CV
- Developing jobsearch skills
- Completing application forms
- Preparing for an interview
- Accessing training and volunteering opportunities
- Achieving qualifications
- Access practical support with accessing childcare, travel, clothing and digital connectivity,
- Connect with employers looking for your skills and experience,
- Mental health and wellbeing support.
