Employability Key Worker Service 

Our Key Worker team provide one-to-one support to any resident of West Dunbartonshire, especially the following priority groups:
  • Lone parents
  • Families
  • Unemployed
  • low Income Employed
  • Long-term unemployed 
  • Care experienced
  • People with health conditions or disabilities affecting employment
  • Residents facing multiple barriers such as low confidence, poor digital skills, poverty, or lack of qualifications

Our dedicated advisers will:  

  • Help you identify your strengths and develop any areas you'd like to build on  
  • Create a step-by-step plan to get you where you want to be 
  • Offer expert advice and guidance every step of the way 

The service is free, voluntary and tailored to suit your needs.  

Our Key Workers can help with:- 

  • Creating and developing a CV 
  • Developing jobsearch skills 
  • Completing application forms 
  • Preparing for an interview 
  • Accessing training and volunteering opportunities 
  • Achieving qualifications 
  • Access practical support with accessing childcare, travel, clothing and digital connectivity, 
  • Connect with employers looking for your skills and experience,  
  • Mental health and wellbeing support.

Dumbarton Council Offices, Church Street, Dumbarton Thursday 1.00pm - 3.00pm 
Clydebank  Clydebank Library, Glasgow Road, Clydebank Tuesday 10.00am – 12.00pm
