Autumn Rhythm & Connection: Balloch Circle Dancing
Monday 19 October ( 20:18 - 20:20 )
St Kessog’s Church Hall , St Kessog’s Church Hall, Balloch Road, Balloch, G83 8LQ
"Circle dancing is a bit like a theatrical shared experience. Our 2-hour sessions dive into a diverse world of music, exploring 5 to 6 completely different tracks each time—each carrying its own distinct rhythm, pace, choreography, and history so that every class feels fresh and exciting for everyone."
Every single piece of music (about 3 to 6 minutes long) takes us on a predictable 6-minute well-being arc:
🧠 The Start (FOCUS): The music kicks off and everyone looks down. You are listening to the facilitator calling out steps, and watching the feet around the room. This intense focus completely silences your daily stress.
🤝 The Middle (COORDINATION): As the rhythm builds, the group's physical coordination grows stronger. Holding hands acts like a mechanical guide—keeping the whole circle stable and in sync.
✨ The Goal (JOY): As the pattern locks in, your body relaxes and heads naturally come up. The breakthrough is the sudden, uplifting realisation that you are moving in perfect harmony as one single unit
