Join us to learn a printmaking technique favoured by Rembrandt and local artist William Strang. This art used acid, beeswax and a sharp point to create an image. We will work with less toxic and harmful materials than in the past. We will work on perspex to create an image to print. We will use a small printing press to produce an etching by the end of the session.
Tutor Maeve Dixon studied Printmaking at Glasgow School of Art and still continues to create prints at home. She passes on her passion for print to communities so that they are able to create their own masterpieces!
