Balloch Castle Country Park , Start is at Moss O'Balloch near the skate park
Join us in celebrating 10 years of the John Muir Way, a trail spanning Central Scotland. Find out more about John Muir and his love for nature and the world around us and enjoy some self-led family activities as you walk along part of the John Muir Way that passes through the park.

The start of the trail is close to Balloch town centre at the Moss O’ Balloch.

The trail will end near the Castle and people will be on hand to help you navigate back to the start if you do not know the park well.
Please note the route of the path involves quite a steep winding slope up to the castle. There are alternative options that are less steep, please get in touch if you have any concerns in advance of the event.
