SPOOKY SCYTHING IN THE WOODS!
Friday 31 October | 10:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Location: Auchnacraig Woodlands
Dare to enter the woods this Halloween? Join our band of brave **Conservation Volunteers** for a frightfully fun day of nature, tools… and bracken-busting with scythes!
Whether you're a green-fingered ghoul or a nature-loving newbie, all are welcome to help us tame the tangled undergrowth of Auchnacraig’s enchanted woodlands.
What We’ll Be Doing:
This Halloween session features the ancient (and slightly spooky) art of scything! We'll be clearing back bracken to help native plants thrive. It’s practical conservation with a haunted twist!
No Experience? No Problem!
We’ll provide tools, gloves, and training.
Meeting Point:
At the entrance to the woodlands on **Auchnacraig Road / end of Waulking Mill Road**
What3Words: **///whom.dreamer.lamppost**
