RLSS Emergency First Aid at Work with Management of Life Threatening Bleeding

This comprehensive one-day course covers a range of first aid skills to equip the learner to apply first aid to arrange of injuries and illnesses. The course will also include training to manage life threatening bleeding and the application of a manufactured tourniquet.

The Emergency First Aid at Work is Trainer assessed throughout the course and the assessment will determine a learner’s ability to act safely, promptly and effectively when an emergency occurs at work and to deal with a casualty.

All Assessment Criteria in the units must be achieved, and the learner will complete a written theoretical test.

The Award is valid for 3 years from the date of the assessment.
