Parkhall Library relocation

We are preparing to relocate Parkhall Library to it's new location within Clydebank High School.   
Please note that the library will close at it's current location at 1pm on Friday 11 October and reopen in it's new location at Clydebank High School at 4pm Wednesday 23 October.  During this time your nearest alternative library is Dalmuir Library. Opening times and contact details are available on the Dalmuir Library page.

Learning Centre Computer Suite
The computer suite contains 4 computers which can also be booked out by community groups to use for classes. They offer the following:

  • Windows 10 on all computers
  • Full Microsoft Office suite
  • Free broadband Internet
  • Full-colour printing (A4 &A3)
  • A4 scanning facilities
  • Wheelchair access table

The computers are available to library members to use for free and are also utilised for the various free computer courses ran by Quest the libraries computer training team and other partner organisations. Various tabled seating areas. These areas are ideal from small group activities, meetings and discussions groups.

 

Junior Library Space

The junior area of the library is a welcoming environment with moveable shelving units. The space is used for family activities such as Bookbug sessions.

  • Junior PCs with free access to the internet.
  • Bookbug sessions.
  • Junior fiction and non-fiction books.
  • Junior DVDs.
  • Picture and board books.
  • Talking books on CD.
  • Toys and games.
