Young people leaving care can be at risk of not making a successful transition from school to the next stage of their learning or work journey.
Educational Services work in partnership with Skills Development Scotland (SDS) to support our young people leaving care. We support them so after school they get and keep a place in work, learning or training.

West Dunbartonshire Council has a duty to prepare young people for leaving care and to support them once they leave. This support is provided by the Throughcare Team within HSCP.
