Accessing our service
The main requirement is that the person is a West Dunbartonshire resident and needs support related to employment, learning, skills, financial inclusion, benefits, debt advice, or digital inclusion.
We accept self-referrals and referrals from partner agencies for West Dunbartonshire residents who would benefit from the following support. The best way to do this is by completing the Online Enquiry Form.

- Improve employment opportunities
- Individuals in work who want to progress, retrain, or change careers
Learning and Skills Support
- Adults needing literacy, numeracy, or digital skills support
- English courses for Speakers of Other Languages.
- People wanting to gain qualifications or access training
- Residents looking to increase confidence or requiring wellbeing support
Financial Inclusion Support
- People needing benefits advice
- Individuals experiencing debt or financial difficulties
- Households requiring support to maximise income and manage finances
- People affected with cancer who need support with benefits/debts or other non-medical concerns.
Once an enquiry is received we will make contact, carry out an assessment of your needs, allocate you to the most appropriate adviser or service, agree an action plan, and provide support towards employment, learning and/or financial wellbeing.
