Partnership Action for Continuing Employment (PACE) is the Scottish Government’s initiative dedicated to helping individuals and employers with advice and support when faced with redundancy.

 

West Dunbartonshire Council is a member of the PACE Partnership.  We respond to redundancy situations by providing skills development and employability support to minimise the time people affected by redundancy are out of work.                               

West Dunbartonshire Council’s Working 4U service has dedicated PACE officers who can  provide advice and support to help West Dunbartonshire residents who have been made redundant or are at risk of redundancy find work, get money and benefits advice  and explore learning and training opportunities.

If you are an employer and your business is under threat of making redundancies we can help support your employees through the redundancy process and offer free, impartial advice.

What happens next?

A member of the team will give you a call.  They will:

  • Talk to you about what it is you are looking for.
  • Listen to you about what it is you are looking for.
  • Give you information about a range of services which may help.
  • Provide practical assistance and support to ensure you get what you need.
