This exhibition showcases a wonderful variety of artwork created by members of the Wee Scottish Art Group who love to draw and paint in a range of media and genre including illustrative work, experimentation with fabrics, dye pastels, embellishment and abstraction.
Several members offer work for charity fundraisers, raising £320 for Macmillan Cancer via submission to a local popular café, ‘Food Fillas’. Community grants have enabled investment in materials, equipment and a light-board for enlarging artwork. Thanks to the Linnvale Community Bus, the group can visit galleries and museums.
Sharing skills informally, and as ‘demo dates’, members enjoy the companionship the art group brings. Appreciating all aspects of this enjoyable past-time, they enjoy creating and learning about art and improving their techniques.
The group fund rental of their premises in Dalmuir Community Centre and put all grants to good use.
Works are for sale.
