Learn to Swim Programme
Our progressive Learn to Swim Programme is for children aged 3 years and over. Learners are taught fundamental water skills and further develop these into being competent at all four strokes.
Entry Points
The programme has two main entry points:
- Pre-School classes: For children aged 3+.
- Swim Skills 1 classes: For children attending Primary school (aged 5+).
Venues
Our Learn to Swim Programme is available at all three of our leisure centres:
- The Meadow Centre
- Clydebank Leisure Centre
- Vale of Leven Swimming Pool

Our waiting list is currently closed.
Payment and Membership 2026/2027
Our learn to swim programme will deliver lessons over a 48-week period and guarantee you a minimum of 45 lessons per year. The price of 45 thirty-minute lessons is averaged out over 12 monthly direct debit payments.
Monthly Direct Debit from 1 April 2026
- Swim Lesson Membership: £24.75
- Swim Lesson Concession Membership: £19.80
Adult Swimming Lessons
