What is Bookbug?
Bookbug sessions are fun, free 30 minute sessions for babies, toddlers and their parents and carers. They include songs, action rhymes and sharing stories with time afterwards to browse our library stock.
Makaton Bookbug Sessions?
Our Makaton Bookbug sessions are specially tailored ASN sessions to include Makaton and symbols. *Places are very limited*.

Where and when
Bookbug Sessions
Our regular timetable is on holiday for the summer but never fear, we are running special summer sessions! Please see our Summer Reads page and Summer Activities calendar for more information. Please note places are limited, please contact the library holding the session directly to book your place.
Outdoor Bookbug Sessions*

Please note:
- Outdoor Sessions are drop-in – There's no need to book.
- Bring something suitable to sit on and dress appropriately for the weather.
- Sessions may be cancelled at short notice due to inclement weather.
