Instrumental Music Service Ensembles

Joining an Ensemble

Pupils receiving instrumental instruction are encouraged to take part in school and authority ensembles whenever an appropriate standard has been reached. These activities are an integral part of the pupils’ musical development and they are a social and fun way to greatly develop their playing.

Instrumental Instructors will inform pupils of the details of the relevant Ensembles once the appropriate standard has been reached.

  • Funk sKool

Rehearsals

Rehearsals run for the first 2 terms only (August - March). The rehearsals take place at the Music Service Base in Dalreoch Primary School.

Mondays

  • Senior Concert Band (4.45pm - 6.15pm)
  • Training Concert Band (4.45pm - 6.15pm)

Wednesdays

  • Senior String Ensemble (4pm - 5.30pm)
  • Training String Orchestra (4pm - 5.30pm)
  • Funk sKool (3.45pm - 5pm)
