West Dunbartonshire School Meals

We provide healthy, nutritious, and affordable meals for pupils from early years to secondary school. Our catering team prepares about 1 million meals each year.

What We Offer

• Healthy Choices: All of our menus meet the Scottish Government's healthy eating guidelines. Our menus follow the Schools (Health Promotion and Nutrition) (Scotland) Act 2007 and the Healthy eating in schools - guidance 2020. We're proud to have earned the Food for Life Served Here Bronze Award, which confirms our commitment to providing high-quality, healthy food.

• Locally Sourced Food: We use local and ethical ingredients whenever we can. Our meat is Quality Meat Scotland and Red Tractor assured, our fish is certified by the Marine Stewardship Council, and our milk comes from Scottish farms. We also only use free-range eggs.

• Trained Staff: Our catering staff are fully trained in food hygiene and allergen awareness to ensure every meal is prepared safely.
