Notice is hereby given that under Section 14 of the Roads Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA), as amended and by any other relevant legislation, use of the following roads by the undernoted types of use / classes of vehicle will be prohibited for the stated period of time.
Name of Road: A813 Stirling Road, Alexandria
Restriction: Road Closure on (A813) Stirling Road, Alexandria from the extended kerb line with the Lionsgate Roundabout to the extended kerb line with Strathleven Drive and to include the access slip from Levenside Road, for a distance of 945 metres or thereby.
Date of Restrictions: From 8th April 2024 for up to 5 days and from 13th April 2024 for up to 5 days when appropriate signs displayed.
These works will be undertaken from 07:00 on 08/04 until 15/04.
Reason for Restriction: Resurfacing works.
Classes of Vehicle Prohibited: All classes except emergency service vehicles, those permitted by signs & those engaged in authorised road works.
A813 Stirling Rd > A82 NB > A811 Lomond Rd > Carrochan Rd > Main St > End and vice versa
Emergency vehicle through traffic could be prevented or at least delayed at works moving within extent of the closure.
All restrictions may only be applied in part, as & when signed / required, & will be kept to a minimum.
Access to all property & for pedestrian through traffic will be maintained, where there is no other means of access.
