West Dunbartonshire Local Employability Partnership (LEP)

The West Dunbartonshire Local Employability Partnership (LEP) brings together local organisations to make sure people of all ages can access the right support to move into work, progress in work, access training or further education. The partnership ensures employability activity across the area are joined up effective and easy to navigate. 

The LEP’s work ensures that: 

• Support is easy to access and available in local communities 
• Services are meeting individual needs 
• People can progress at their own pace 
• Employers can find the skilled workforce they need 
• Public funding is used effectively to reduce unemployment and inequality 

What does the Local Employability Partnership Do? 

It coordinates local employability services:

The LEP oversees how employability support is planned and delivered across West Dunbartonshire. By bringing partners together, it ensures services are meeting the needs of local people and employers.  Services are there to help people find employment and stay in employment.  Partners are working together to make it easier for people to focus on their future and take the next step towards employment. 

It delivers the No One Left Behind approach: 

The partnership implements Scotland’s No One Left Behind model, which focuses on flexible, person-centred support. This means individuals can access help that fits their circumstances, whether they’re just starting out; returning to work or wanting to progress in work.  For further information about the NOLB Strategic plan-
