Books should be returned within four weeks or in some cases it may be two weeks depending on the item being borrowed. Due dates are stamped on items when they are borrowed.
If you can't return borrowed items back by the due date, items can easily be renewed:
By visiting Library Online and log in using your library card number and 4 digit PIN*
(*If you don't know your PIN then send us an email to request one or ask a member of staff the next time you visit one of our libraries.)
by phoning any WDC Library.
by visiting any WDC Library in person and speaking to a member of staff.
This renewal will be for a further four week period unless the item is requested by another borrower.
Books can be renewed without coming into the library up to three times, and then must be brought into a library for further renewal.
If you have a WDC Library account with a library card and PIN, you can reserve an item in any of our libraries and they will hold it until you can pick it up by:
