Online Digital Resources

All of the digital resources listed below are available and FREE to all West Dunbartonshire Libraries members.

You will need your library membership number to access these digital resources, and some sites also require your PIN* If you don’t know your PIN please email us at library.headquarters@west-dunbarton.gov.uk including your library membership number.

Borrowbox

BorrowBox gives you access to a huge range of digital content and allows up to 6 eAudio loans and 6 eBook loans at any one time. You can also browse and reserve titles that are currently on loan to other users.The best and easiest way to enjoy Borrowbox is by using the BorrowBox mobile app. It can be downloaded at the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store for Android

PressReader

eMagazines and eAudioBooks

With PressReader you can select from over 6,000 newspapers and magazines worldwide, including over 160 UK and Irish newspapers and 360 top UK magazines. Pressreader is a great way to read magazines and newspapers on your phone or tablet. Find your favourite titles and discover new ones from around the world. You can even schedule automatic delivery of your favourite publication.

Comics Plus

With Comics Plus you have access to thousands of free digital comics, graphic novels and manga that can be downloaded and viewed on smartphone, tablet or web browser. Comics can be downloaded to multiple devices and read offline at your leisure.

Comics Plus Children Edition

eComics for under 12yrs

This is an age appropriate version of the Comic Plus Children Edition resource that is aimed at younger children and teenagers but still has access to thousands of free digital comics and graphic novels.

Comics can be downloaded to multiple devices and read offline at your leisure on smartphone, tablet or browser.

Theory Test Pro

Driving test theory tests and videos

Can only be access from a library computer.

Theory Test Pro is a highly realistic and DVLA approved online simulation of the UK's driving theory test. It contains the official practice test question bank, hazard perception video clips and an online version of the Highway Code.

When you first use Theory Test Pro, you will need to register with your name, email address and create a password. This information allows Theory Test Pro to save your test scores so you can follow your progress as you practice for the test.
