A82 essential resurfacing, south of Renton
Commences Monday 7 September
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential resurfacing on the A82 southbound, between Stoneymollan Roundabout and Lomondgate Roundabout from Monday 7th September until Saturday 12th September 2026 between the hours of 8pm and 6am each night.
This work will require overnight closures in this location, including the southbound on slip at Renton. Traffic will be diverted as follows:
- Southbound A82 traffic will be diverted via the A811 and the A813 to re-join the A82 at Lomondgate Roundabout.
- Traffic wishing to use the southbound on slip at Renton will be diverted northbound on the B857 to the A811 and follow the above diversion route.
Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the condition of the carriageway in this location.
Road users are thanked for their patience and understanding while this work is being undertaken.
