Notice of Proposal to Construct Speed Cushions / Traffic Calming Features
West Dunbartonshire Council as directed under Sections 36 and 37 (1) of the Road Humps (Scotland) Regulations 1998 hereby indicate its proposal to construct Speed Cushions on Whiteford Avenue.
Speed cushions, with a maximum longitudinal length of 3.5m, 1.9m wide and a height of 75mm or thereby, are proposed to be constructed at the following locations.
- On Whiteford Avenue 65m or thereby east of the junction with Aitkenbar Drive.
- On Whiteford Avenue 125m or thereby east of the junction with Aitkenbar Drive.
The main objective of the proposal is to reduce the speed of traffic on Whiteford Avenue with a view to improving general road safety.
