West Dunbartonshire Council, as directed under Sections 36 and 37 (1) of the Road Humps (Scotland) Regulations 1998, hereby indicate its proposal to construct Speed Cushions on West Thomson Street, Clydebank.

Speed cushions, with a maximum longitudinal length of 3.25m, 1.6m wide and a height of 80mm or thereby, are proposed to be constructed at the following locations.

  • On West Thomson Street 68m or thereby west of the junction with Kilbowie Road
  • On West Thomson Street 117m or thereby west of the junction with Kilbowie Road
  • On West Thomson Street 197m or thereby west of the junction with Kilbowie Road
  • On West Thomson Street 229m or thereby west of the junction with Kilbowie Road

The main objective of the proposal is to reduce the speed of traffic on West Thomson Street with a view to improving general road safety.
