Temporary Traffic Restriction Order - Colquhoun Road, Dumbarton

Section 14 RTRA 1984 – 5-day notice

Notice is hereby given that under Section 14 of the Roads Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA), as amended and by any other relevant legislation, use of the following roads by the undernoted types of use / classes of vehicle will be prohibited for the stated period of time.

Name of Road: Colquhoun Road, Dumbarton

Restriction:

(1) No right turn from Colquhoun Road into A82 Dumbarton Road.

(2) No right turn from A82 Dumbarton Road into Colquhoun Road.

Date of Restrictions: From 25 October 2026 for up to 5 days when appropriate signs are displayed.

The restriction is a right-turn ban to and from Colquhoun Road and will be in operation on nightshift only between 25 October and 30 October 2026, from 20:00 to 06:00 each night.

Reason for Restriction: Works to facilitate the Exxon site.

Classes of Vehicle Prohibited: All vehicular traffic except emergency service vehicles and vehicles engaged in authorised road works.

Access to Colquhoun Road - Northbound A82 Dumbarton Road, A82 Stirling Road, Barloan Roundabout, southbound A82 Stirling Road and A82 Dumbarton Road.

Access from Colquhoun Road - Southbound A82 Dumbarton Road, Dunglass Roundabout, northbound A82 Dumbarton Road and A82 Stirling Road.
