Temporary Traffic Restriction Order - Westbound A82

Overnight closure - removal of narrow lanes

To facilitate utility works associated with the nearby Bowling Strategic Development site (former Exxon site), a one-night closure is required to remove the narrow lanes installed on the A82 between Dunglass Roundabout and the Dumbuck Junction.

Name of Road: Westbound A82

Restriction: Road Closure on Westbound A82, from the Dunglass Roundabout for a distance of 1 mile or thereby to the Dumbuck junction.

Date of Restrictions: 8pm on Friday 20 March 2026 until 6am on Saturday 21 March where appropriate signs displayed.

Reason for Restriction: Removal of narrow lanes installed to facilitate utility works.

Classes of Vehicle Prohibited: All classes except emergency service vehicles, those permitted by signs & those engaged in authorised road works.

Emergency vehicle through traffic could be prevented or at least delayed at works moving within extent of the closure.
